Change which permission scheme a space uses
Space permission schemes, space roles, and work item security schemes aren’t available on Free Jira sites. More about Free plans
Once you’ve created and set up your new permission scheme, you’ll need to associate it to company-managed spaces to enforce those restrictions.
If you’re managing permissions in a team-managed space, see permissions in team-managed spaces.
The processes on this page require the Administer Jira permission.
To associate a permission scheme to a company-managed space:
Next to the name of your space in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
Select Permissions from the sidebar.
Select Actions, then Use a different scheme.
Use the Scheme dropdown menu to select the permission scheme you want use in this space.
Select Associate to save your change. Any changes to space access or capability are applied immediately.
